Pro feature
Availability blocking is a Pro feature. Free-plan caterers see an upgrade prompt wherever these controls appear.
Summer holiday coming up, or July already full of bigger gigs? Block the dates once and every calculator respects it: no more manually declining requests for days you already know you can't take.
Two ways to close a date
| Mode | What it does |
|---|
| Fully closed | Customers can't select this date at all. |
|---|---|
| Busy, requests allowed | The date shows as busy, but customers can still send a request. |
Each block also chooses Whole day or Event time only (once start/end times are set), and applies to All calculators or only the ones you pick.
Three ways to create a block
- From an event. Any event form has an Estรค saatavuus laskureistani toggle (off by default; nothing blocks silently). Turn it on, pick the scope, time range, and hard/soft mode.
- Drag-select empty days on the calendar. Drag across a range in month view, then choose Block availability in the chooser that appears.
- The events toolbar. Open the โฏ menu and choose Blokkaa kalenteri (Block Calendar) for the full editor: separate sections for Estetyt pรคivรคt (specific dates), Estetyt ajanjaksot (date ranges), and Toistuvat estot (recurring: weekly, monthly, or yearly), each with an optional time range and a customer-facing message per language.
Setting a default
Asetukset has a Saatavuuden oletukset card that pre-selects hard or soft for every new block you create; each one can still override it individually. What customers see
A hard-blocked date is simply not selectable in the calculator's date picker. A soft-blocked date stays selectable, optionally showing your custom message, and the request goes through as usual.
Reading the calendar
Hard-closed days paint red on the grid, busy (soft) days paint amber. A whole-day block colours the entire cell; a block limited to certain hours only shows in the week/day time-grid views, plus a small Estetty / Varattu info chip in month and list views instead of painting the whole day.
